Explore Stockholm yourself!

Does a trip to Sweden appeal, but you can’t make the group trip? No problem! Nickes.Com is a Swedish-based company so we are perfectly placed to arrange trips for individuals and small groups.

Stockholm is the biggest city in Scandinavia and is a fantastic destination for a summer break, with the opportunity to wander round its old town, and take to the water and explore its vast archipelago.

What’s more, there are three of Sweden’s biggest clubs competing in the city: AIK play at the national stadium, the Friends Arena, while Hammarby and Djurgården share the impressive Tele2Arena. And let’s not forget IF Brommapojkarna, who with nearly 250 teams are the largest club in Europe!

Magical matches at Malmö!

In the south of the country Malmö FF have been the most successful Swedish club, lifting the title 23 times and reaching the European Cup Final. They now play in the modern Eleda Stadion, right next to their former ground, and the atmosphere at home games is among the best in Sweden.

You can also check out matches at other nearby clubs including Helsingborg and Trelleborg or cross the world-famous Øresund Bridge to visit the Danish capital Copenhagen, just an hour away.

Chill out in Gothenburg!

Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city and a contrast to the capital: a really vibrant place with character on the western coast. The long boulevard Avenyn is lined with bars and cafes, packed on summer evenings.

IFK Gothenburg are the city’s big club, playing at the Gamla Ullevi – a stadium they share with two other teams, GAIS and Örgryte IS meaning you can expect games there every weekend! Across the river, the upstarts BK Häcken won the Allsvenskan in 2022 for the first time in their history.
